Head of Network Relations

DoubleZero is looking for a highly talented Head of Network Relations to join our team and lead our network growth efforts as we support the launch of the DoubleZero protocol.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY 

Leadership / Team. Build Network Relations at DoubleZero from the ground up. You will have ownership over every aspect of the function, including building a team as appropriate. 

Network & Developer Community. Foster a thriving community of bandwidth contributors and validators that use and contribute to the DoubleZero protocol. Help educate the Web3 ecosystem about DoubleZero\'s benefits to drive adoption of the technology.

Technical Knowledge. Understand the technical aspects of the protocol better than anyone on earth, so that you can help improve its design and ensure that developers can integrate with it effectively.

Communications. Represent DoubleZero in public forums including X (Twitter), Discord, industry events, and beyond. Become the go-to person for technical questions about the protocol.

Travel. Visit with contributors, validators, and other community stakeholders to work on their integrations with DoubleZero. Represent the protocol at industry events to grow interest among key figures in the space.

Content Ownership. Build and own the necessary technical documentation that users need when getting started with and using the DoubleZero protocol, including videos, written walkthroughs, and more. Eliminate friction for developers to integrate with DoubleZero by understanding their concerns and reducing knowledge gaps.

Enterprise Growth. Understand and speak to the technical and financial needs of businesses, not just individual developers.

QUALIFICATIONS 

• 5-10 years of total developer relations/development experience with an emphasis on network infrastructure technology.
• 2+ years of crypto networking experience.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity; can bring structure and focus to complex questions.
• Ability to prioritize appropriately and meet deadlines in high-pressure environments.

High technical acumen - you are ready to contribute to the technical development of the DoubleZero protocol by representing stakeholder interests as the technology scales.

A crypto or decentralized system enthusiast - you understand the potential of the technology for solving some of the world\'s most vexing problems.

DoubleZero is a decentralized, permissionless protocol that revolutionizes network performance for distributed systems like blockchain. The mission is simple: increase bandwidth and reduce latency.

DoubleZero increases bandwidth by filtering junk data that currently plagues validators and other network operators. DoubleZero reduces latency by connecting these filters with underutilized private fiber links in the form of a mesh network.
